Limited Funding Availability
Our current donations limit the resources we can provide, and we are unable to cover security deposits at this time. Applicants should seek security deposit assistance through government programs or other community resources before applying for our rental subsidy.
Accessible Communication
Horizon Housing Fund is proud to be an inclusive organization. Our staff members are deaf, blind, or both, and we use specialized equipment to communicate effectively.
If you are a hearing and seeing person and need to contact us, you will be required to complete an interactive verification process to ensure smooth communication.

🏠 Horizon Housing Fund – Last-Resort Rent Assistance for Families in Crisis
Horizon Housing Fund is a privately funded rental subsidy program created specifically to support parents and caregivers of deaf and blind children who are struggling to find or maintain safe, stable housing.
We understand that the traditional systems don’t always work fast enough — or at all — for families in urgent need. That’s where we come in.
Because we are a private funding source, our program serves as a last-resort option for families who have already exhausted public avenues for rental assistance.
✅ Who Qualifies?
To be considered for our subsidy program, applicants must provide documentation showing that they have either:
❌ Been denied government rental assistance, or
⏳ Remained on a waitlist for at least 90 days without receiving a clear response or status update on their application.
If you meet either of these requirements, you may qualify for up to 24 months of rental subsidy through Horizon Housing Fund.
💡 How It Works
You apply with supporting documents showing financial need and housing status
Our team verifies eligibility and performs a short intake

We provide personalized case management and mental health support tailored to the needs of families.
